I think it’s great that you’re writing. I’m working on my second print book. I agree that it would be in your best interest to wait until you’re finished before letting others look at it. I’d be happy to help you when you’re ready but at the moment, you need to keep writing and not worry about the product. When you are ready to have it read, I wouldn’t be too public with it. Ask a few people you really trust. You’d be surprised at how many would be willing to simply steal your work. I know it sounds cynical but look at what is happening online. I frequently find articles I’ve written being claimed by someone else. This is why my work is rarely online any longer.
