Well I bought it prior to getting it pierced, online on ebay – because the piercing shop that i went to; i KNOW they wouldn’t sell it to me because they’re really safe on things like that. i recommended bodyartforms.com for retainers and jewelery though. really good prices and it ships super fast.

nah it wasn’t glass , i think it was either acrylic or plastic. but you can’t even see it at all with the retainer in unless you look really hard, it just looks like a small freckle. no one noticed it at work or school unless they were like super close to my face or i told them. my parents like me wearing it when im around my grandparents hahah because they would KILL me if they saw

by the way be careful when you put it in because the little o-rings that come with the retainer are clear. theyre SO easy to drop and loose – and usually when you drop it its gone for good, so i would buy a few extra ends. i can actually keep it in without the oring – which is fine by me, but its easier to hide WITH the oring.

i got it pierced with a ring, which is good because it takes the stress off of the wound (so i’ve been told and read) but it is horribly hard to take off since the ball is held in place by pressure from the ring you need needle nosed pliers to take it on and off
