I think it’s a good thing you turned back if you are married.

Thanks for the advice!

CannedMan is trying to live more, better and stronger every day.

Of course… As you can see, if you take a look at my profile, life’s not always been as it is now. But back then, I wanted things that were not always for the best.

But, to make sure my point doesn’t get lost in my rambling, here it is:
My uncle, who sadly died young (didn’t reach his 42nd birthday), lost his fiancĂ©e when he was young. After several years, he got a solid grip on his life again, and started doing the things he’d been dreaming of. As time went by, I could notice him being increasingly happier. During his last years, he realised two dreams. He built an airplane, and he moved to Svalbard. There’s no doubt that doing these things, these out of the ordinary things, made his life better.

Did I ramble on again? I hope not. Realising one’s dreams is important to each and every one of us. It’s the only way we can have a happy life. How can anyone be truly happy, if not working towards one’s goals and dreams?

Sorry to hear about your uncle. It’s great that he instinctively followed his dreams. When we follow our dreams and step out of the box I guess it can set one free spiritually, mentally or emotionally. I agree that it can be the key to happiness. That and for me, finding god.
