I’ve been here nearly a month and I haven’t made one friend. I’ve had plenty of oppurtunities (being invited places) but my shyness gets in the way. Sometimes I think I even give off the impression I dislike people. I don’t know what to do.

Here in downtown

it’s not bad at all. That’s why I was so surprised when I stepped off the bus in North Seattle onto a giant slab of ice. I was walking on ice for like 10 minutes on my way to the interview.

How is the ice in your area?
