I failed miserably on this one this week. My parents left on Sunday, after being a month here. My husband also went away for half the week. So, after a month of intense work and fun, there is only my three-year-old and me. We missed the family noise, so we watched movies and played. The problem is, I became so depressed I neglected my work, and now I’ve fallen behind. I have even – gasp!- watched TV!! But I intend to get back on track today. Wish me luck.

Ah well. What's done is done
So, what did you watch? At the very least, your viewing can be converted into a review for those of us who may not have been watching, for whatever reason.
Is the Archers, the BBC comedy, available on the tellie? I remember with fondness, listening to the Archers from our Sea Hut on the gravelled hill in Bondsteel, when serving peacekeeping duty near Ferizaj, Kosova.
Don’t feel alone. I procrastinated last night and today, by taking time to research my geneology. I might have been looking for more work! At least I found out several people with my father’s last name who also love and write poetry. Seems to run in the family, the arts and music.
Thanks for making me smile
I don’t even remember what I watched, but I can assure you it was not worthwhile, except for Jamie Oliver (sp?) cooking. I love food!
And I don’t think your research is procrastinating. At least it is a good kind of procrastination. I recently found out that I have amateur musicians on both sides of the family. And I tought I was the only one! Plus, my great-grandfather was a sculptor, and a great-uncle wrote (good) humoristic poetry, although he did something else for a living. What I call “anecdotical genealogy” is much more interesting than just tracing everybody…
