heaveemetal Nothing lasts forever, and you know that hearts can change

Meet a beautiful woman on the internet I could love forever and never be able to meet her because she's halfway around the world (read all 4 entries…)
I still talk to her...........

Geeezzzzz. I get goosebumps on my arms when I read her E Mails….She is so nice and unspoiled…35 years old…enjoys simple things and has goals and interests that I share…...I am going to try to lure her for a visit next summer….....Or wish her here…....There’s no way I will be able to go there…....A financial disaster looms on MY horizon…...Will take awhile to build back up….......Please???

That......

would only drive me more nuts…....I can’t get too wound up in something that is probably doomed….....I’m locked into my job….......no transfers…for any reason…......so if something happens with a relationship…....and it’s to continue…or have a chance…...The woman has to move here….......That’s a tall order

This is hard to explain..........

But I will try.after you are at a job like mine for a certain amount of time….....The Pension you are elligable for after 25 or more years is a large amount of money. If I leave….I forfiet all of that….....If I live for 20 years after I retire…...You might be talking $300,000….depending on the final amount…...it varies from year to year…...Plus the benifit plan I have through my employer…......Dental, Vision, Doctor…...almost ALL paid for…....And Fully paid prescriptions also…........For that I must bite the bullet…..and keep my eyes on the prize….......

benefits transfer..

...I think you may need some legal counselling on this, but I think it is possible to transfer your pension. It may not be as big an amount, but you are eligible to partial pension benefits. A friend was telling me about it.

Also, you could get a job that has a better pension plan somewhere else. You could save up. You need to do some lateral thinking.

Then again, the internet is also tricky business. What glitters may not always be gold, but the journey anywhere is always worth it. Moving out of one’s comfort zone is always painful, but one always learns so much.

Good Luck.
