In my case, I was so convinced that no one would ever read my Master’s thesis that I stuck a $5 bill inside, with a note that said, “if you find this, you can keep it”.

Last I checked, it was still there. It’s now in permanent storage, so I’m sure it will be there for a long, long time.

You have to go to the Bancroft Library, fill out a slip requesting it, and a day or two later they will dust it off and bring it to you.
