I confirmed today that none of the robots intervened to close these 2 accounts. It appears the owners of the accounts closed them.

Personally, it’s a bummer that folks jumped to the conclusion that we were somehow punishing folks who were using the site (and saying they feared we’d punish them for saying something about it). Does it seem like that sort of place?

We’ve worked really hard to make the site a friendly and positive site for folks to share their goals with each other and we treat it all with a very light hand. In the future, if folks have a concern about a user, it would be great to have the issue brought up in clear way so we can understand the concern and look into it. Here the communication was so cryptic that it was hard to figure out what was known and who knew it.
