do you think that would make me immature? Sometimes I look at something..like a vinyl figure and I think it is so adorably cute! Am I being immature? But why can’t adults like cute things too? Just because we are older doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate nice looking things! I mean..just ask the older men with arm candy on their arms! Now who is being childish? LOL!

that blows me away
I can imagine very well what you mean, by ‘looking at the world through a child’s eye’
First we grow up as children. Then, later (always never early enough) we become adults – and everything changes !
You cannot afford to do stupid thing anymore, cause that would be called ‘mad’ (it’s ok if you’re a child though).
Suddenly you have to take life serious (that is what everyone expects).
But what about this ‘grown-up’, after he/she comes home from work where he/she was behaving very, very adult … sees his/her small children who expect him/her to spend some quality time with them ?
Have you got the picture too where the adult becomes a child again (to be on the same level) at least for a short while ?
So, every adult has the capability of being a child, actually it stays part of everyone’s life until we die.
It is a part of us. Yes, even if some adults consider themselves superior over others. I call them ‘Presidents of the Universe’, hehe. (That is sarcastic) :-)
Coming back to the ‘seriousness’ expected from adults, I think that goes too far sometimes.
That’s when you feel how relaxing and releaving it is going back to childhood again. Escaping from the pressure of expectations.
Children are excepted from adult commitments.
Then, a ‘new/old’ world opens, and so does the point of view. (Explanation for what you wrote earlier)
Long story – short sense: I think nobody should ever amputate him-/herself from the child-part of him/her just because our society likes you to adapt.
Besides this, I think your pictures are very, very lovely!
My observation...
I have some coworkers who are soon to retire and you would not believe how child like they can be! It is in all of us and I think we should let it come out! When people retire a lot of them take courses or take up a new hobby. They are learning new things. I think as long as one is willing and able to learn, to have new experiences then they will remain forever young at heart. We should all let our inner child come out to play! No matter what age we are!
When I see something for the very 1st time and I like what I see…I feel like a kid in a candy store! I don’t mean like a new pair of shoes, but I mean say…a new anime movie! So amazing!
Thank you for the lovely compliment about my photies! I had a lot of fun taking them in front of the ‘puter!
