Today I came back to this site after a long time because somebody had requested a comment (thank you brooke_lynne2000) and it did make me feel good to see that now 7 people had adopted this goal too. It is said that “People will forget what you do, People will forget what you say, but they will never forget the way you make them feel.” So making them feel good is likely to be an efficient way to make a difference in the world. I wish there were “how to” books about that. Have you heard of anything?

How do you know it's a good deed?
Hi Suparn!
As Sartre said, Hell is paved with good intentions. I’m really pleased to see a whole web site dedicated to goodness. But I don’t know if it’s efficient to count one’s own points. I believe it is more productive to “make people feel good”. It’s not easy to evaluate either but it’s somewhat more objective.
There is a fun book by Nick Hornby called “Being good” on the derive of good intentions and the relativity of goodness…
Good luck
Guynemer
thanks for ur suggestion
Hi Mr Guynerner,
It’s very interesting to know that the world is divided into two faction .Good or Bad .Which side of life(good or bad) do we opt for is the key question ? After going through the usual daily hectic schedule when I reach home sometimes I do ask myself wether I have done any good deed today ? Have my actions bought smile to any face ? Which side I am of life Good or Bad.
With these thoughts My friend and I created this website where people will come and post their good deeds it is like their online diary of good deed .Knowing that how many people are doing good deeds will inspire other people who will come to the website and might be possible that they also start doing good consciously and subconsciously .
"DO GOOD TO FEEL GOOD"Regards
Suparn
