I found some cool books and tutorials on it. It’s just not something I have time for right now, though. It’ll have to wait.

The only way to finish something is to start. Since making shoes is something you can put down and pick back up at any time, I would suggest breaking the process up into small managable pieces. Gather some materials, set it aside. Measaure your feet, set it aside, and so on. You can really advance the project even by working in 5 or 10 minute portions a week apart.

Thank you for the suggestion. I really am just not feeling it right now, though. I have too many other completely unrelated things to focus on right now. It’s a goal, but it’s not an important goal, so I don’t mind if it takes me a few years before I really truly get around to it. Maybe it’ll just happen by accident like my first finished goal did (learning to embroider).
