While traveling back and forth from PA to FL I always hated taking I-95 as it was just too busy,so I began taking the ‘alternate’ route of I-81 and what a view! I’ve been up and down the east coast and I think the Blue Ridge mountains are some of most breathtaking views on the east coast! I even moved to Roanoke for a couple years and honestly I should have stayed!

cool thanks! I’ve lived in NYC My whole life (25 yrs) and I don’t want to limit myself. I visited Virginia twice as a child and I like it. Recently Virginia rolled down my tongue when I was trying to decide to which states I wanted to move. I don’t want to live in the DC area because of the crime (DC #1 crime in US), but DC area has more jobs. thanks for the info, I’ll keep doing my research.
