and gathering up cheers in order to knit them into a little more gumption. I REALLY COULD USE A LITTLE MORE GUMPTION TODAY.

These 49 people have sent me cheers and comments over the past week or so. Some are regular correspondents, and some I don’t know too much about. It is kind of exhausting trying to keep up with it all. But it’s also fun and interesting. Thank you to all my correspondents.

Now where did I put those knitting needles?

although now I may need knitting lessons. My grandmother was always trying to teach me when I was a kid, but I seem to be knitting-impaired.

Well, I can

teach you! I’ve taught at least 3 people! I always found knitting to be very easy. I learned after watching my mom for about 15 minutes. After that I taught myself. But I never was able to pick up crochet, though I did try. It just wasn’t my thing, so maybe knitting isn’t yours. (:

I wanted to knit baby clothes, but it never happened. I ended up getting so many hand-me-down outfits I didn’t need to anyway! (Can you believe my mom kept almost every outfit from when I was a baby?! Plus the clothes from my friend! She’s pregnant with her second child right now and due in January, so I’ll be returning her newborn clothes to her soon.)
