I have all the stuff; my artist brother took me to the store and we picked it all out, but I have no inspiration. I’m also a little scared that if I try painting I’ll realize I’m no good at it.

If you're no good, who cares?

I say go for it and just see what ends up on the canvas. You know what I figured out? If you don’t like it, you can always paint over it and start again! This works best with acrylics though.
