TajLV is bracing for some hard times ahead

keep my new years resolutions (read all 6 entries…)
58.8% completed 11 months ago

exercise more – obviously not enough
read Ulysses – perhaps next year
Lose 30 pounds – only if I count weight regained & relost
spend more time outdoors – “more” could have been “MORE”
-go to Japan again- – done in March
Publish a collection of short stories – not in 2007
-buy a new mattress- – yes!
-update my wardrobe- – accomplished
-refinance my car- – might want to do it again, too
-see a dermatologist- – did it
-buy a good bbq grill- – well used, too
Rewrite my will & write a living will – was this a 2007 goal?
-take ballroom lessons- – Did it, but not for me
-Give 2000 cheers- – Will hit 3000 by Christmas
exceed my monthly sales quota – a noble effort, failed
-do something new and entertaining every month- – done!
-practice good dental hygiene- – and continuing

Congrats!

Taj – I was researching success stories for a speech I’m giving tomorrow on New Year’s Resolutions. I see you’ve done really well on your resolutions? If you happen to see this tonight, drop me a line at whatevah (at} gmail dotcom and let me tell me how you feel about your successes and how you feel about the items you didn’t complete. What did accomplishing some of these goals do for you? Was it helpful to share these goals with others, or were some more private? How does 2007 compare with the resolutions you made in the past – were you more or less successful?

Would you mind if I referenced some of your posts in my speech?
