They’re liberal, they’re shy, their kids drive them crazy (ok I have found friends who agree with me on that – ok all of them), they’re agnostic, they’re afraid for their country, they question everything, they wanted a homebirth and never got it, among an extensive list of other things. I mean, I know I’m in the midwest but really! What am I doing wrong that I can’t seem to connect with people who think a little bit differently?
