finish NY apartment renovations (read all 36 entries…)
no road ever runs smoothly... 8 months ago

I was so excited to have this finished but as you can see from the photo the plaster doesn’t meet the wood of the ledge. I am not going to have the wall replastered and painted so a piece of molding will have to do. Luckily the carpenter is coming today for a door so I am going to ask him to do it.

I am getting that much closer… the carpenter said it would be no problem to put a piece of molding there so I am trying not to notice the gaping seams when I look at it!It is way better than the pipe I have been looking at for the last 2 years!
