New Isabella embracing impermanence of disorganization and clutter this afternoon

embrace impermanence (read all 17 entries…)

Lost and found...  — 6 months ago

A fragment of poetry that had been haunting me lately. I found it sometime in the past week, in one of my meditation books. It is all about embracing impermanence:

We would rather be ruined than changed,
We would rather die in our dread
Than climb the cross of the moment
And let our illusions die.
by W. H. Auden

another quote

kindness overcomes fear, that is how you defeat it. It’s no match for love.
Elizabeth Kubler Ross

I recently read a book by her and a male co writer, maybe the title was Living life, something like that. it was pretty wonderful, there was a whole section about fear that i was into. for me knidness to myself is important, i get possesed by fear and feelings of failure and get down on myself.

:) Thank-you...

What a lovely response. It makes me feel better just reading it. I have never really read much by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, but I know she is famous for her work with the dying, and of course that is one of the biggest fears of all. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.
