I'm trying to stay positive  — 3 months ago

And not rag on myself because I haven’t finished much on my impossibly long school relate to-do list. So I’m going to give myself a big pat on the back for having read Howards End this weekend. That’s one more text I can check off my comps reading list. If I can get a bit of my grading done in the next couple of hours, then I’ll feel like I’ve had a pretty productive day.

Yay!

I finally made some headway in my grading mountain (and I had really been putting this off for the last couple of weeks). There’s still a lot left, but at least there’s not quite as much left as there was before I got started. So here’s what I accomplished today:

Read two of the readings for 1890s class
Finished reading Howards End (and it was really good!)
Graded all of the reading responses for my Brit Lit class

So, all in all, I think I had a pretty darn productive day.
