ethanunzicker is sunburned already
We’re doing our Torah study this trimester. Well it’s not really a Torah study. It’s more of a things-found-in-the-Torah study. We have to pick one of the first five books of the Bible and base all of our scripture studies off of that. We just got all the details for this trimester last Wednesday. Wednesday nights I have the Principles for Life service to go to. Thursday-Saturday was Experience, for which I ran tech for every service and thus came early and stayed late. Saturday I had cleanup from Experience then I had to make sure the hundreds of Life Group dvd’s worked and then I was dead tired and took a nap and watched Rob Bell’s teaching Everything is Spiritual(holy crap it’s good!). Then I had Sunday morning service today, ate lunch, and started laundry. I decided I’m going to do Deuteronomy for my study. But now I’m stinking tire from such a long week. I want to have a sabbath but I HAVE to get my scripture study done. They say if your SS takes you more than 2 hours you’re taking way too long. I say if you’re scripture study only takes you 2 hours you’re not trying hard enough. So my SS takes me a long time. I concentrate hard. I research and re-research. It takes alot out of me. Alot I don’t have in me right now. I’m gonna try taking nap for an hour maybe then I think I’ll get started.
I have worship practice tomorrow night so I can’t work on it then. I’m making it my goal to not get AP this trimester so that means I have to get this SS done by Tuesday morning and get more than an %80.
I wish tomorrow wasn’t home-opener appreciation day and that we didn’t have Earthbeat this week and still have scripture study on top of all of our other responsibilities. But I guess hard work makes the dream work.
