If you are having irregular cycles, then there are other questions that need to be answered before anything else.
Are you over/under weight? Do you have an underlying condition such as PCOS or endometriosis?

There are a ton of sites out in the web to help you once you find out why you are having irregular cycles.

Good Luck

yes I’m about forty to fifty pounds overweight, but the irregularity went back much further than that. I actually went and saw a doctor about it a few years ago and had an ultrasound but it didn’t show any signs of PCOS or endometriosis. I’m probably going to go see an OBGYN and get a second opinion once I get my military ID. Could you reccommend me a few of those sites? I’ve been googling like crazy but they’re usually just articles that tell me what I already know.

I am married to military and can vouche and say that once you get your ID Card, that everything health wise will be taken casre of (or so it will seem). I hope that in itself puts a smile on your face.
here are a few sites
www.babygaga.com their forums can be VERY helpful and VERY addictive. I will say beware of sarcasm though b/c we get asked the same questions ALL the time

www.twoweekwait.com
www.tryingtoconceive.com
www.themommyplaybook.com
www.babysnark.com
www.cafemom.com

personally after having used BabyGaga for over a year and a half and it is ALWAYS busy, I recommend that and twoweekwait has a ton of info for anyone regardless of conditions. It will show you how to ‘chart’ your cycles to watch for patterns so you can find the best time to try for a baby.

If you do sign up for BabyGaga, lemme know. I am still on there practically everyday. =]

I’m on babygaga now! I’m Seattle Rain there, just like here. Except there’s a space in it at babygaga.
