Called my sister to touch bases with the family since I got sick and was not able to see everyone for Father’s Day dinner. But she said that a part of my lab results sounded abnormal, and now, I’m really worried. But the ER doc did not point them out to me. I’m supposed to follow up with my regular doc within four days, and right now, I still don’t feel as well as I should. Wonder if it’s more psychological or physical? I’m so worried. And that means more time off to see the doctor.

1. Talk to supervisor about needing to take time to see the doctor.
2. Work.
3. Schedule dr’s appointment & explain my concerns.
4. Change fish tanks—still have not done this.
5. Water garden.
6. Take it easy and try not to worry.

i think it's normal

to have abnormal lab results when you’re sick. happened to me last year when i had a horrible cold/flu thing—all sorts of values were off target, but it turned out that nothing was actually wrong. try not to worry!

Abnormal Results

Thanks, Zanna. Those things always freak me out, because I’ve seen relatives and friends who’ve gone through scary, long illnesses. And they always seem so easy to get—you don’t even know something’s wrong, till it’s completely wrong!
