Overcome my OCD
Untitled

Anyone who thinks this isn’t a real illness and we should just “get over it” or whatever, I reccommend watching The Aviator. After that, presuming you accept that that protrayl is in fact realistic, I know you won’t be able to honestly tell me it’s not serious. The fact is, people that don’t have it, don’t know what it’s like and can’t know what it’s like, they jsut have to accept that it’s true what we tell them it’s like: unbearable

Me too

I read that something like 1 in 4 people have some degree of OCD. I get so pissed off when people joke about it. Not everyone is like Howard Hughes or Monk. OCD manifests itself differently in people over their lifetime. No one seems to be able to understand that. I go through phases of counting, organization, cleaning etc. I pray that the whole germ & contamination nightmare skips me over.
