Good!

It seems like we agree then :p

I’m actually packing up the whole house today for the moving, so it feels good not to feel guilty about not studying… :)

We moved most

of the boxes on Saturday. So I’m sitting in a rather empty living-room right now… Kinda zen… Maybe I won’t be buying furniture when I get my place ;)

I was in Copenhagen yesterday for a jb interview, and it just felt so good being there!!! You know, I get this amazing feeling that I just belong... It’s the big city thing!! I can’t wait to move!! Next tuesday :)

You?? Any new encounters with the nain de jardin?? :)

Yeah...

I know what you mean… This ‘we’re keeping the place clear and zen’ feeling is what we say every time (and we have moved A LOT). But it somehow gets crowded as the weeks go by, and you don’t realise how nice the place was before you’re all packed up and ready to move again… ;) Human beings are weird, sometimes… :)

The job interview went incredibly well!! It was a temp agency. Hubby had put my CV online on their website a week ago (I told him I just didn’t feel like I had the time to take care of it, so he was a darling, as always). And 2 days later, I get a phone call saying that they would really like it if I could come for an interview before moving over there. So I went (even though it’s a rather expensive train ride). The guy seemed crazy about me, and was trying to convince me to put my PhD plans on hold for a couple of years, because he’s got some great positions for me. You know, assistante de direction and stuff… Something I’ve tried before and was quite good at, but not exactly the career I picture for myself… But we’ll see. If it takes a while before I get a scholarship, I’d much rather a well-paid position like that (wages are not like in France here…) than go from one temp job to another doing ‘Zeus knows what’ :p

I’m really glad to hear you no longer feel scared of standing up to ogre de jardin! I guess it’s what happens when you push your boundaries, right? I almost wish for you he soon pushes your buttons again, so you get a chance to practice your cool James Bond lines!! And who knows, the music may very well start playing in the background… It’d be your very own ‘Ally Mc Beal moment’ :D
