Retrieve my data from the LaCie Rugged drive (read all 3 entries…)
I received the replacement cables. 18 months ago

And, whaddya know… it worked!

I’m happy to have my data back. The question that remains for me is whether the issues other people experienced were also due to faulty cables, or if there’s still a chance the drive could fail further down the line. Do I want to keep using a drive that could die at any moment?

Need to think about this a little more.
