I’ve spent the past five hours in my room, practicing Konstantine. I’ve played for most of the five hours. I’ve been taking a 10-15 minute break every hour to strap an ice pack to my shoulder and do whatever I need to do online but aside from the breaks, it’s been Konstantine nonstop.

And just a few minutes ago I made it to the end of page 19. I played that chord I’ve been in love with for ages. The one with the Bflats as the bass that just sounds perfect because it ends a perfect song.

I’M SO EXCITED because I can play the entire thing now. Not perfectly, of course. I have to work on timing and memorization (though I’m surprising myself in that area!) and then force my eyes off of the keys/my hands.

But hey, I’m almost there…
