my random thought ain’t no big deal. It’s a matter of perspective. I didn’t get a job I’d interviewed for. Someone who already worked there got it. The woman who interviewed me called me herself to tell me, and to say she enjoyed the interview & would like to see my name pop up for their next vacancy. They are likely to have 2 retirements and one promotion within the next 6 months or so. That kind of turn-down is pretty easy to take. I like what I do now, anyway, although I’m ready for a change. Interviews are always kind of enjoyable, too, and helps me meet & get to know people within the biz.

Yes,I like interviews

at least, so far! Interviewers have always been nice & interesting, and, shit, here goes my reputation as a misanthrope, but I enjoy meeting people that way. Hmm, maybe because I get all the attention in an interview? No, I don’t think so.

But everyone there has to be nice and cordial and everything, so it’s pleasant. And I KNOW MY STUFF! I am DAMN good at what I do, so I don’t get nervous or insecure about anything they might ask. I’m curious about how other places do things.

And it is another information- flinging job, with more “responsibility” than I have right now. Some different, more interesting things to do.
