Become Financially Independent (read all 3 entries…)
financial independence

People have different ideas about what this goal means. Here’s what it means to me: I’ll consider myself financially independent when I no longer must rely on work to produce an income – work will be something that I choose to do, if I feel like it, not something that I have to do, in order to get by. So I am working on saving and investing my current income to grow it to the point where it is sufficient to support me.

I totally like your definition of ‘financial independent’!!
That is how I stopped being an government employee and started to study at the artacademy. Not independent yet but doing what I like to do.
