finish reading A Suitable Boy

I love Vikram Seth's novel...  — 2 months ago

A Suitable Boy is 1747 pages about a few intertwined familes in India just before and after independence. It’s really a lovely story and I enjoy reading it but I’ve put it down for months at a time and have trouble getting back into it because there are so many charachters. The first time, I started over from the beginning but I can’t do that now because I’m too far alone. I have faith that I’ll finish but I know I’m losing something from not reading it all the way through in one time period.
I’m looking forward to putting this in the “I’ve done this” file!

2-3 times, i would highly encourage you to finish… but… then again, for me there might have been different motivations….

LOL! I really do like the book a lot – I was trying to read it before I traveled to India 3 years ago but didn’t manage to even start it before then. But it was just as nice reading it after I’d been – I keep thinking I will pick it up again soon…

So, bookish, what was your motivation??
