i know where you’re coming from. not only am i lesbian, without loads of money, i’ve also just turned 41. i have wanted to have a baby for years & it somehow never happened. things are much less simple for us since we can’t just get pregnant by surprise. my last girlfriend was worried & not ready so i held off but eventually we broke up & here i am.

i have friends that did get pregnant using a gay male friend as a donor (you don’t have to actually have sex..there are other ways), another couple adopted & another couple did the sperm bank route.
my advice is to just do it if you feel it in your gut. i never thought time would fly by & i’d be this age without kids.
make the decision & the rest will work itself out. maybe one of your friends would be a donor or co-parent.?
