I had a manual 35mm Pentax for years, only recently replaced by an automatic 35mm Pentax a couple of years ago. Even though other camera manufacturers have offered several options in the SLR categories for their digital counterparts, Pentax only offered one, originally offered at $1,899.00. I’ve been waiting on the price to reduce before investing but, with the option to switch my current lenses between the 35mm and the digital, and with the success and happiness I have always experienced with my 35mm Pentax cameras, I’ll be patient and wait on the Pentax SLR digital, and will settle for nothing less.
