Yeah, I wouldn’t have realized that it was a screenshot either. but now that you mention it, I can totally read your name.
My parents still had one until just recently. But, like I said, I wouldn’t have any use for it, even if I did have it.
Meanwhile… the curse of long hair… it’s probably for the best that I keep my distance from vacuums, as I tend to kill them.

I’ve only been on my own about 4 years (off and on this last one) and have gone through as many vacuum cleaners. I thought it was because I’ll just run the fucking thing over whatever’s in my way.
Does hair sheddage really contribute?

ummmm.... YEAH.
The long hair gets tangled up in whatever sort of bristle-system you’ve got. Which even if you’re very contientous about cutting clean after every vacuum (as the ex was, and he also had significant hair) it still is extra work on the motor and whatnot.
Or at least such has been my experience.

(Besides which, who doesn’t love the satifying “cachunkcachunk” the vacuum picking up something way too big for it? It makes you feel like you’re accomplishing something with this whole “cleaning” crap…)
