I’ve been back up to 258 (+6) for the past few times that I’ve weight myself and sadly I’m not sure how much better I’ll be able to do as my social anxiety medication has a listed side effect of possible weight gain (or loss) so it looks like it might be working against me.

A bunch of my friends...
are doing weight watchers and they’ve had good progress with it. They have to be super accountable and meet up with other people who are also struggling. There’s an online component and also meetings. I’m not entirely sure how it works [I do know that they all seem to eat their veggies and they get points for working out] but have you thought about looking into something like that? It took a friend of mine five years to go from over 200 to just under 150, but she did it with them.
Maybe just look at what they do to see if it’ll help you in any way… I wouldn’t get too down on yourself if you truly feel that you’ve been playing by the rules and your medicine has messed things up for you. You might check in with your doctor and see how much weight gain you should expect and adjust your expectations accordingly.
