My shyness
I am a lot less shy than I used to be. I got really better at this. Maybe because I don’t worry as much about what people think about me, now. I gained some self-esteem and confidence, which helps a lot too. I am still a bit naturally shy and I don’t think it’ll ever go away. But I’m already very satisfied with the step that I’ve made during the last few months, or even few years.
shyness
May be you should check it in as done... do you have any stories about shyness?
Yeah, I could. I might do it next time I clean my list.
Any story? Not really. It’s just something happening on a daily basis. I have trouble speaking with strangers and doing the first step. Except at work, where I am extremely extroverted! But in my daily regular life, I am not perfectly comfortable when I have to speak with people. Even sometimes I have trouble calling my friends on the phone! But I think it’s more like hating the phone that actually being shy.
welcome back after a break :)
While you were enjoying advertisement, we were talking about yesterday’s ice hockey that Max played. Is your persona very different when you are on the field?
On the field?
It’s more like on the ice. :P
But yes, I’m very different. I’m a calm and quiet guy in general but when I’m playing, I have to be robust, since I’m tall and big, and that it’s my job on the team. So I’ll usually fight a bit, and give some body checks… and play physical.
But it’s not the case anymore. Now I play just for fun with some friends, so we’re just enjoying ourselves on the ice, taking a few shots at the net and all. But back in the time when I played in a semi-professional league, I was playing verrrry physically.
