I don’t know how well I’ve been doing on this goal… Hard to measure.
I spread smiles and laughter around me as much as I possibly can, and people at work tell me that they look forward to come in the morning to see my smiling face… So I try to believe that I do make a tiny difference.

But still, how do you know if you ever give anything to anyone, really. We can all say kind words to each other. It doesn’t necessarily touch people.

Well, today, hubby and I were out for our yearly contribution to ‘Save the Children’. Walking in a neighbourhood for 3 hours knocking at every door, and asking people if they wish to donate money for children in Africa. We do this every year. Next month, it’s ‘Red Cross’.
It feels like a tiny drop in an ocean. Don’t know if it even counts…

But we just got all the money counted. They were totally impressed!!! We’re the team that collected the second highest amount of money!!! I’m actually really pleased with that. We collected enough to pay for a whole school year for 8 children in Sierra Leone… That’s totally worth it!!! :)

EDIT: We got 1.000.000 dollars nationwide!!!
