Another local Iowa-side path runs along Duck Creek. I’ve only run this a few times, but it’s about 9 miles long, so running the whole thing out and back makes a nice marathon training run. Also very nice, but a little farther and not quite as scenic (in my opinion) as the mighty Mississippi.
