Our (your and my) houses sound quite similar. We use the mud room and the basement as pantry, too. We have the one bathroom, and it and the kitchen have the original tile and cabinets. The house is lathe & plaster, wood floors. Small one-car detached garage, a potting shed, and a pump house for the original well (although we’re tied to the municipal water & sewer now, the well is still available). We’re the third owners.

I like this house. I don’t like the location much. My favorite features are the large porches in the summer, the fireplace in the winter.
