They’re useless and silly.
However…
Because I was following you around this morning I took the damned thing.
You are a Romantic Self-Knowing Reinventer.
I have no idea what that means, but there it is.

I’m supposedly a Romantic Extroverted Self-Knower.
We must be related.
I gotta say, it’s the first time I’ve ever been identified as an extroverted ANYTHING.

I’m a Romantic LifeLong Learning Extrovert. I think because I checked off “Befriend a Stranger”. I am so NOT an extrovert. The rest of my string makes sense though :)

maybe thinking too hard… ;-)
I know that I took on some of my goals precisely because they are things that don’t come naturally to me. I’m not an extrovert—so I push myself to get out there and be friendly.
Seems to me there’s a basic flaw in using our list items to categorize us: for many of us, our 43 Things represent our efforts to balance our natural tendencies and grow. So they aren’t representative; in fact, some of them are exactly the opposite.
What do you think?
mahinui ever more at home
I think we are already part of what we are trying to become.
Don’t you think that the act of exploring and pushing outward even in a virtual zone brings about change in and of itself?
I am in awe over the changes that have taken place in my life since I discovered 43things.
The purpose and direction alone are worth the price of admission, which in this case is hours and hours and hours of precious time. But it is focused time.
And as a sidelight, there are the amazing people here who to me are far more than words on a screen.

I don’t get any of this, to tell you the truth. I don’t have the smallest understanding of what it means.
Adar is back.
about all of these online “find out who you are” quizzes (as well as the ones in women’s magazines, etc.) is that mostly they don’t mean much.
The only exception is the Meyers Briggs Inventory, which I’ve seen “work” too many times to discount. And it’s hardly an “answer 10 questions for the secret of the universe” quiz.
The rest of these things are parlor games: fun but that’s all. (In my not very humble opinion, of course.)
So why do I take them? As games to play with online friends, natch!
