Go on a road trip (read all 2 entries…)
Well that one got accomplished fast

I just added this goal last week and it is now my first goal completed in 2006. :-)

I debated on whether checking this one off, or the road trip with no predetermined destination… I decided on this one, simply because we sort of had a destination in mind when we left.

My friends came home at 10 Sunday night and said Hey we’re takin a road trip to Arkansas, wanna go? So, having Monday off (thank the Lord for holidays!) I hopped in the car at midnight… we made it to Hot Springs, Arkansas about 5 am (we live in Dallas) and pretty much stopped, took pictures and then headed back. We made it home around 1pm Monday afternoon.

What’s in Arkansas? NOTHING. lol but we had a LOT of delirious laughs during those AM hours – and it definitely was worth doing! That’s a memory I’ll forever have. :-)

Heck, you must have missed all the best parts! I mean, were you wearing shoes? Then you missed the grass under your feet thing…

Of course, everything here closes at 8 pm, so that’s a downer. But there’s always the Wal-mart Supercenter…

We did manage to make it to the walmart to try and sleep, but we ended up just goofing off in our car in the walmart parking lot… then we moved to some breakfast restaurant called perkins or somethin to that affect (where I slept in the car while my friends ate) then they went down to this place called Bath Row (i think?) and took pictures (while I slept in the car).

I slept through a lot but I was awake for the truck with the chicken coop on the back to catch on fire on the highway. That was exciting haha.
