I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I was diagnosed when I was 18. I’ve had six surgeries for it since then, including a hysterectomy in 2000. when I was 26. It’s very hard to learn that you are not going to be able to have a baby. I hope that you are still able to. You never know, I’ve learned of people getting pregnant and actually giving birth in situations that one would never expect to be successful. As for me, well I know that I am much better today than I was before I had the hysterectomy. At the time, it was the best solution that I or any of my doctors could come up with (partially due to my also having diabetes and the effect of the two diseases upon each other – it was more than my body could handle at the time). There are times when I really wish I could get pregnant, but I go back to the time in my head before the hysterectomy and know I did the right thing. Good luck to you! Thanks for sharing about this.
