I’ve been searching for this post, because I just had to give an update. It’s been almost 3 years since that hummingbird visited me, and last month I saw it again. My mother was married January 24th to her high school sweetheart after 30 years of separation. It was a beautiful garden wedding and the entire family was there. As the reception began, I noticed a small group of guests gathered around the altar. My husband ran up and grabbed me by the hand and led me over to it, and perched on the altar was an emerald green hummingbird!!! I couldn’t believe it! The guests were all amazed and said it had been hovering around through the entire ceremony. I’m not a mystical person, but I get chills just thinking of it!
