be content with my life
on being content 3 years ago

Everyone spends too much time trying to do more, or get more, or change something that isn’t really wrong or bad that society says is not OK, enough, or whatever. That being said, I’m writing a list of things I want to do. How do we decide these things are really what we need to be happy? Or are we adding things that are true in value that will make us content, that are not for ourselves in terms of material goods? Or will make ourselves neurotic in the process of trying for more physical stuff or recognition? Deep down, do we all strive for the same things (love, respect, recognition for being unique)? hmmmmm

Being Content

To be content I beleive one needs to first accept that all people are unique and each has a special contribution to thier society and the world. You also need to identify what makes you happy within and strive to achieve these goals irrespective what others or society dictates.
