I dont know where to start. I am turning 21 in march. I just decided that I want to move to california. I have not told anyone yet because I just started this new job in wisconsin about a month ago. It pays well. Thats about it. I knwo that i dont want actually move to Cali until summer so i can pay off some bills, make some extra car payments so i dont have to worry about them right away after the move, and save up enough money to at least secure a place to stay. What should i do in the meantime? I know i want to live south of LA. San Diego, OC (area), Long Beach. I want to be near the ocean for sure. So does anyone have any advice on what i should work on in the meantime while i am paying off bills??? Thanks

I dont care what anyone says. California is calling me and i will awnser. I feel like it is the place i am suppose to be. I will go, with no regrets. I have visited several times. Its the atmosphere, the variety of people, the new experences, and the opportunitys that call me. I have never been so sure in my life that i want to move to california. Sure i am nervous. But who wouldnt be. I can already see the day i move. It will be warm and sunny in Wisconsin during a beautiful green summer. I will walk to the top of the cliffs and say good bye to my hometown. I will pack all of my necesities into my little white car, and i will be on my way to california. I always hated road trips from cali to wisconsin with family and friends. But i have a feeling that this time will be the time of my life. And i am going to do it all alone!!!

Hi im in the same situation as you.. i live in minnesota been here for about 6yrs. before that i stayed in chicago.. my dream is to move to california but i here so many cons than pros. my main concern is cost of living.. yeah i know its expensive but i feel that i have to follow my dream.. i love the atomsphere… so i think im gonna make that move.. it will be there on arizona… lol

The midwest will always be my home, but i am ready for something more. My main concerns are finding a decent paying job, figuring out how i will tell my family, and how im going to make the actual transition. I will hopefully have like 5 grand saved up before i go. but that isnt going to go too last very soon. What part of cali do you want to move too?

Just Kidding I don’t hate Minnesota but I live here too and the weather is driving me crazy and limits me so much that I could scream sometimes…lol I am absolutely dreaming about Cali. I want to move there more than ever. I don’t know where to start but I do like San Diego. Its one of my favs. I wish I can just find a job I have a degree and I have serving experience. With the economy my degree prob won’t work but I don’t know if there are many jobs available :(
