Spend 10 minutes each day tidying/decluttering/cleaning (read all 2 entries…)
I really hate...

housework and am, by nature, a very untidy person. So is my husband so we’re not a great influence on each other! I’ve always wanted a tidy house but have never been able to achieve it; we generally go into a mad tidying-up panic when people are coming over is quite stressful and which takes far longer than it would if we just kept our house clutter-free or put things away where they belonged.
I have several other goals on here about tidying up/not procrastinating but they don’t seem to be working so from now on I’m aiming to do ten minutes a day in the hope that I can avoid having to do these massive cleaning sessions every so often!

I am seriously making some progress finally with my clutter and cleaning. I have spent many a time in a panic cleanig up when someone was coming over or having to spend a stressful few days before the holidays trying to make the house neat enough for entertaining. I am trying to spend at least 15 minutes a day. I am finding that I can get a lot done in 15 minutes. Good luck to you. I am sending tidy thoughts your way.
