I’ve walked every day except the day I swam. From 2 miles when I started to 2.7 miles today. I’m so proud of myself for keeping up the good work. I’m varying my walks so I don’t get bored. I’m also eating differently and hopefully that helps me to make the progress that I want to make.

Small steps, big differences

Breakfast: Kashi Go Lean Crunch (1 cup), 1/2 cup Silk skim soymilk

Lunch: Peanut butter sandwich, 5 strawberries with cream cheese

Dinner: Sauteed cabbage, corn, and a quarter cup of brown rice with cheddar cheese

Snack: 1/2 cup Dannon all-natural plain yogurt

Add an Apple to your snaks!

Hi! it looks like a great menu plan you have there. I would like to see you add more fresh fruits and vegetables. Apple’s are God’s gift to dieters, they contain a great amount of fiber, they will keep you feeling full and make great snaks. If you have a sweet tooth, then add one small tea spoon of peanut butter to it, you will see how amazingly full and satisfied it will leave you.

I like apples!

But I don’t eat them fast enough. Maybe I’ll pick up a bag of red delicious the next time I go to the store. Thanks for the tip.
