I’ve never been so miserable as when I attempted looking for love. I’ve never experienced so much pain as when the one I wanted didn’t want me either. The last time I thought I was in love, I knew it wouldn’t make any sense to be with someone incompatible and I was aware of their wants and needs, so it was doomed from the start. Nothing good comes from it but pain.
brownsugarbear01, I certainly empathize with your hurt right now..I divorced after more than 25 years of marriage, had a 6 year relationship that ended even on a sadder note, but I haven’t given up on finding my life-long partner !! I am not necessarily “withering away” without him, but I will surely embrace him when he arrives in my life !
I guess I am saying it’s okay ( for me , at least) for a female to be on her own for a while, but I do agree with what kevin456 just said….love between a man and a woman can be the ultimate feeling !
