As Always, Julia

One thing I loved reading about in My Life In France were Julia’s views on politics. In her letters to Avis, they talk about more then recipes and ideas (which are, as always, incredible to read about), but also the intelligent discussion on world events going on at the time. And the way they write about them in letters I’m sure they never thought they’d get published into a bestseller; relaxed but still thoughtful.

Seriously? I never heard anything like that. Do tell!

You can

read about it here and here. Or just Google ‘Julia Child spy’.
