“God” is a concept of a purely spiritual being that has no physical effects on the environment. There is no evidence of God, either for or against His supposed existence. That is why belief in Him is called Faith.
“Magic(k)”, on the other hand, is a supposed energy source capable of altering our environment and causing observable results and effects. There are No such observable results. None. Saying a bunch of random or rhyming words is not magic.
If “magic(k)” existed we would all be able to see its effects, everywhere, and such results would by their very nature be so noticeable that there could be no other explanation. People would be throwing fireballs, lightning bolts, using flying carpets, etc. etc. ad nauseum. It would be everywhere. Yet this is not so. There is absolutely zero evidence of any heretofore unknown energy source capable of altering our environment with a few rhyming words and wishes.
Outrageous claims require outrageous proof. I could say I’m actually Superman – the immediate response would be, “Ok, prove it – let’s see you fly.” If I then said, “I don’t need to prove I can fly, you need to prove I can’t.”, then it shows that I have zero evidence to base my claim on. The Burden of Proof lies with the Claimant. Understand what that means?
