get enough sleep (read all 10 entries…)
Slightly desperate

I am so tired.
And I can’t sleep.
These past three nights I slept maybe 12 hours – in total. My back is giving me a hard time and I have trouble to shut out all very unwanted thoughts.
Writing down my activities and what I ate, I am not getting any wiser. It seems that eating too much is just as bad as eating too little. Getting rest druing the day is also just as bad as getting lots of exercise. Balancing both is difficult but even then, I am not getting more sleep.

Time to see a doctor? Maybe at least to get some help for my back…

Air-waves & Energies?

Sometimes I really do wonder whether what’s going on in the lunar world does have an impact on our sleep, physical well-being and pysche?

I’ve just experienced very similar scenarios/issues sleeping as you & SolenaD. For the past 2wks I’ve been all over the shop (to coin a phrase) – up til all hours wide awake, bright as a button. My thoughts have been rambling, random, illogical. My neck & shoulders have been acheing & I can’t get comfy in bed and I’ve been eating less, but more (if that makes sense).

On reflection I do find it always comes down to an emotional issue that’s reared it’s ugly head or is unresolved and weirdly, the timing is almost always when there’s a full moon!? Once the new moon phase begins, I settle down & my regular sleep pattern returns?

I also go to the chiropractor once every 8wks – like a maintenance thing. It really does help with keeping things aligned & I sleep way, way better. It might be worth a try for you K~?

That could very well be, JWillow.
You are right that some disturbances are too regular to be ignored and could very well be caused by the full moon.
I always see the cats being very active around the same time and the kids stirring a lot more in their sleep.

It always used to work well to just acknowledge the full moon and keep it in mind by taking some extra time to rest and also spend some more time outdoors to get that balance that the kids and I need to sleep well.

These past few weeks either there muct have been something else off, though or these lunar influences have been more present than before. Personally, I blame it on something else that just now happens to coincide with the full moon.

But I am happy to see a change in both, the personal disturbances as well as the moon.
