find my passion (read all 3 entries…)
Passion #2

Sports and exercise are very important to me. I’ve noticed that prolonged physical inactivity seriously hurts my mental well-being. Even if just a couple of days go by without any kind of a physical exercise or a work-out I start to feel lazy and disappointed with myself.

However, I’m not too competitive or willing to become a professional athlete. I like to do sports because it’s fun, but if it gets too serious it’s not fun any more. Coaching or teaching could be an option but without any great personal achievements or outstanding skills it’s hardly a realistic option.

You’ve got a point. Being truly passionate about something would mean not caring about success; just doing the thing should be enough.

I find it difficult to listen to my heart. I always try to think things through and make the rational choice. That makes me wonder if I’m too much of a realist to feel really passionate about anything.
